As The New York Post reported, two Delta jets “absolutely smashed” into each other on the runway at LaGuardia Airport, destroying one plane’s nose and tearing off a massive part of a wing. Delta released a statement explaining that a “low-speed collision” occurred between Endeavor Air Flight 5047, arriving from Charlotte, North Carolina, and Endeavor Flight 5155, which was scheduled to depart for Roanoke, Virginia.
