Pope Leo XIV is stepping up his campaign against President Trump. According to Reuters, Leo met with American bishops in the Vatican on Wednesday where he urged them to speak out against the Trump administration’s policy of deporting millions of illegal aliens. Leo, who was elected in May and is America’s first ever Pontiff, was reportedly handed “dozens” of letters from immigrants and left-wing activists complaining about the injustices they are facing. “Our Holy Father … is very personally concerned about these matters,” El Paso Bishop Mark Seitz, who attended the meeting, told the agency. “He expressed his desire that the U.S. Bishops’ Conference would speak strongly on this issue.” The Vatican has so far refused to comment on the meeting, although the report fits…
