The measures to reopen the government failed again on Wednesday morning. The House passed a clean, short-term stopgap funding bill to keep the government open. Schumer rejected it. Instead of working with Republicans to responsibly extend funding until November, Schumer chose a shutdown. Airports went dark this week because Schumer’s priority is to give illegal aliens taxpayer-funded healthcare.
