This comes after President Trump deployed federal authorities and National Guard troops to stop crime in Memphis, Tennessee, which borders northern Mississippi. One shooting at a Leland, Mississippi, high school homecoming celebration left four dead and 12 injured last night. Another at Heidelberg, Mississippi’s Heidelberg High School, just hours away, left two dead and at least one injured. The suspects reportedly remain at large.
