Another senior prosecutor was ousted from the Eastern District of Virginia. Maggie Cleary was removed from her position on Monday, according to CNN and CBS News. Last month President Trump tapped Mary “Maggie” Cleary as the new Acting US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia after he fired Erik Siebert as the US Attorney. Maggie Cleary is an attorney from Culpeper, Virginia, who recently said she was framed for January 6 and put on administrative leave as the Assistant US Attorney for the Western District of Virginia. It is unclear if she still has a job at the Justice Department.
