“Frank LaRose” by Gage Skidmore, CC BY-SA 2.0 Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose has blown the lid off a massive voter fraud scheme, referring over 1,000 noncitizens to the Department of Justice for unlawfully registering to vote. Even more alarming, 167 of these individuals appear to have cast illegal ballots in federal elections since 2018. The findings come as part of an extensive investigation by Ohio’s Election Integrity Unit, an initiative launched under LaRose to ensure that every legitimate vote is counted while preventing election fraud. In total, LaRose’s office referred over 1,200 criminal cases to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division.
