On Saturday evening, former President Barack Obama campaigned for Mikie Sherrill, the Democrat gubernatorial candidate for New Jersey. Obama spent the evening attacking President Trump for deporting illegal aliens and blamed him for the Schumer shutdown. Rather than campaigning on actual policies, because the Democrats have nothing to offer actual taxpaying American citizens, Obama’s speech revolved around attacking President Trump. “Let’s face it, our country and our politics are in a pretty dark place right now,” Obama said. “It’s hard to know where to start, because every day this White House offers up a fresh batch of lawlessness and carelessness and mean spiritedness.
