Fargo Public Schools sifted through a whopping 437 unique name suggestions submitted by the public between October 10 and 24, narrowing them down to a shortlist that includes honors for local heroes, historical figures, and cultural icons. The nomination of Charlie Kirk Elementary was made by Fargo City Commissioner Michelle Turnberg, who recognized Kirk’s profound impact on conservative activism before his untimely death.
