The same people telling you that you need to take shorter showers, drive less, consume less meat, scrap your gas stoves and appliances, and drive electric cars– all to ensure “climate equity” and save minorities– flocked to Brazil in their private jets and limousines for the 2025 UN Climate Change Conference this week. And solely for their expedience and access to the summit, Brazil reportedly chopped down tens of thousands of acres of trees, harming local Brazillians, to make way for a new four-lane highway through the Amazon rainforest.
