A federal judge on Tuesday ordered 14 public schools in North Texas to remove the Ten Commandments from display. US District Judge Orlando Luis Garcia, a Clinton appointee, said the Texas law violates the Establishment Clause. The anti-American ACLU filed a lawsuit on behalf of several Texas families seeking to remove the Ten Commandments from some public schools. The lawsuit was filed after Texas passed a law requiring schools to display the Ten Commandments.
