The Supreme Court of the United States, 2024 The US Supreme Court on Friday sided with Texas, overturning a lower court’s order that blocks congressional redistricting efforts by the state legislature. The new congressional map is expected to give Texas five more Republican seats in Congress. As The Gateway Pundit reported, a panel of three federal judges ruled on Tuesday against the new map. The panel ordered Texas to use its 2021 map in a 2-1 ruling. They said that it was an illegal race-based gerrymander.
