In an X post from Jack Posobiec of Human Events, Gallego is reportedly texting with a “republican” and expressing concerns for the direction the Democrat Party is going in. Gallego became the junior Senator in Arizona after defeating Kari Lake in the 2024 election with Gallego getting almost 100,000 more votes than Kamala Harris while Lake reportedly received almost 200,000 votes less than President Trump.
