A new documentary film that’s being released in December, examines the disaster of the wildfires in California a year ago and questions how and why it was handled so badly. The film is not kind to California Governor Gavin Newsom or Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. It suggests that they basically did nothing as the city burned down around them. Both have been heavily criticized for this over the last year. Bass wasn’t even in the country when the fires began, she was attending some event in Africa that had nothing to do with her job as mayor.
