Republican Matt Van Epps (R-TN) won the special election on Tuesday in Tennessee’s 7th district by at least 6 points over far-left Democrat Aftyn Behn. Van Epps is replacing Republican Mark Green who resigned in July to pursue a private sector business opportunity. The race was called with 71% of the vote reporting.
