Feel good story of the day. 88-year-old Army veteran Ed Bambas wept as he was presented with nearly $2 million from generous GoFundMe donors this week. Bambas, who spent 40 years working at General Motors, was forced to unretire and go back to work at a grocery store in Detroit, Michigan, after his wife passed away. Samuel Weidenhofer, an Australian YouTuber, recently approached Bambas while he was at work at the grocery store and asked him about his life story. Bambas candidly told Weidenhofer about how the bills piled up when his wife was really sick. He said he lost his pension and healthcare coverage.
