Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has filed a bombshell lawsuit against Starbucks, accusing the coffee giant of engaging in blatant racial discrimination through illegal DEI race-based quotas. The suit, announced in a video posted to X on Wednesday, claims Starbucks’ hiring practices unfairly disadvantage white people, or “non-minorities,” violating Florida’s anti-discrimination laws and prioritizing skin color over merit. In his announcement, Uthmeier wrote: Starbucks used DEI to implement illegal race-based policies for hiring and advancement.
