President Trump on Sunday told reporters on Air Force One that he plans to send the National Guard back into Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland “when the crime starts” and floated using the Insurrection Act. “We’ll go back in, and we may, if we, you know, we’re allowed to, the most powerful thing we have, we haven’t used, the Insurrection Act,” Trump said while discussing his efforts to lower crime in America’s lawless Democrat cities.
