Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed the Trump Administration’s capture of Nicolas Maduro on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday and gave a thorough explanation of why the administration did not need congressional approval to execute the strikes in Venezuela and arrest Maduro.  NBC host Kristen Welker foolishly asked if the United States is “at war” with the leaderless nation of Venezuela, and Rubio schooled her, explaining that there is no war.
