(Screenshot: CBS News) Border czar Tom Homan didn’t blink Wednesday when CBS Evening News anchor Tony Dokoupil tried to moralize President Trump’s immigration enforcement with a loaded question: “Where’s the heart?” The clash occurred during an extended interview when Dokoupil attempted to corner Homan with a “gotcha” question about President Trump’s mass deportation policy. Quoting a statement Trump made to The Wall Street Journal in October 2024, where the then-candidate said “we have to have a heart,” Dokoupil tried to suggest the administration’s enforcement efforts were cruel. “Where’s the heart in this?” Dokoupil pressed, insinuating that enforcing the law and securing the border was somehow lacking in compassion….
