President Trump on Saturday went scorched earth on Minnesota Democrats after a federal agent fatally shot an armed man in Minneapolis. DHS law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault when an armed man approached Border Patrol officers, the DHS said. The armed man has been identified as 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti from South Minneapolis. Pretti was an ICU nurse according to the Associated Press. Video posted to social media showed that Pretti appeared to attack federal law enforcement agents before he was fatally shot. The shooting occurred near 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue.
