FedEx filed a lawsuit against the US and is seeking a refund of President Trump’s tariffs after the Supreme Court’s ruling. The US Supreme Court last Friday struck down President Trump’s tariffs in a 6-3 decision. Chief Justices Roberts, Amy Coney Barrett and Neil Gorsuch sided with the three liberal justices. The high court did not address the billions of dollars collected from the tariffs. President Trump addressed this during his presser last week and predicted that there would be endless litigation related to the refunds. So now FedEx is suing for a refund. “Plaintiffs seek for themselves a full refund from Defendants of all IEEPA duties Plaintiffs have paid to the United States,” the lawsuit said.
