The 42-year-old adopted daughter of Martin Short was found dead in her Los Angeles home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. “It is with profound grief that we confirm the passing of Katherine Hartley Short,” a rep for Martin Short confirmed to Page Six. “The Short family is devastated by this loss, and asks for privacy at this time.
