Texas DPS seized $3.4 million worth of meth this week during a traffic stop in Live Oak County. The meth weighed just under 2,000 pounds. The meth was destined for the city of Dallas and was being transported in a commercial vehicle. Operation Lone Star‘s ongoing mission has helped make Texas a safer place. This past Wednesday, a DPS trooper pulled over a tractor-trailer for a traffic infraction. The trooper became suspicious of potential criminal activity. Live Oak Sheriff was contacted to help conduct a search of the vehicle. The K9 unit was used to identify the trailer as a positive find.
