Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officer, hailed as a “hero” on a controversial Capitol plaque honoring law enforcement’s response to the January 6, 2021 protests, has been slapped with a superseding indictment on multiple felony counts, including rape, sodomy, and abduction. Timothy Valentin is currently sitting behind bars facing a mountain of felony charges. According to Alexandria police, Valentin was first indicted by a grand jury in December and was indicted again Monday morning in three additional cases.
