Los Angeles activist Eva Woods beaten by homeless person An activist who ‘took matters into her own hands’ to help feed the homeless in MacArthur Park in Los Angeles, California, was severely beaten by a pipe-wielding homeless woman on February 22. The victim, Eva Woods, has been feeding the ‘unhoused residents’ in Los Angeles for six years after resources were cut back because of Covid. According to a GoFundMe set up Woods’ friend, a homeless woman approached Woods from behind and bashed her in the face with a metal pipe.
