A Mexican national who lacked “any identifying documents” was arrested and charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault of a woman in Utah. The violent attack took place in Salt Lake County by 30-year-old Jesus Alejandro Ramirez-Padilla. He told authorities that he had “thoughts of killing someone” prior to strangling a woman in an alley. He then slashed her throat numerous times. Salt Lake City Police sent officers to respond to a call of a woman crying in an alley. When they arrived, they found the woman with deep wounds on her neck, bleeding.
