Airports across the United States have been plagued by long lines and lengthy delays caused by a budget dispute that has left DHS partially unfunded for over a month, marking the third-longest government shutdown in U.S. history. Senate Democrats proposed funding TSA, FEMA, CISA, the Coast Guard, and other DHS agencies while explicitly excluding ICE and CBP, defunding those law enforcement agencies.
