(The Late Show with Stephen Colbert / YouTube screen shot) Stephen Colbert, host of the now short-lived Late Show, has already lined up a new gig for the summer. He is writing a new Lord of the Rings movie. Yes, really. Colbert is apparently a big fan of the LOTR books and even had a bit part in one of the Hobbit movies. The new film is going to be a film adaptation of some of the chapters from the Fellowship of the Ring that were left out of the movie.
