A 15-year-old male student is dead after shooting his teacher at a preparatory high school in Comal County, Texas, on Monday. The teacher was transported to a local San Antonio hospital. According to the Associated Press, the student fatally shot himself after he shot his teacher on campus at Hill Country College Preparatory High School. The school is currently on lockdown. Law enforcement said there is no ongoing threat to the students or staff at the school. Circumstances that led up to the shooting are unclear.
