Alexander “Xander” Kazanowski, 25, was brutally beaten in the early morning of Tuesday, March 24 in the Avondale neighborhood. Chicago Police responded to the scene at around 3:20 am and saw a young male suffering from severe injuries to his head, Lake & McHenry County Scanner reported. Kazanowski was transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center and he later died on March 28 from blunt force trauma. Xander Kazanowski was a father to a young daughter and had a son on the way.
