Vance made the announcement during a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday night. The Vice President traveled to Pakistan to engage in historic, direct negotiations with Iran after President Trump announced a double-sided ceasefire last week. “We’ve been at it now for 21 hours, and we’ve had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians.
