The gunman who opened fire near the White House on Saturday evening has been identified as a man named Nesire Best.  Reporters heard 20-30 gunshots fired from multiple guns near the White House on Saturday. Reporters did not see the shooter, but the incident occurred on the corner of 17th St. and Pennsylvania Ave., just steps away from the Eisenhower Executive Office building.
