John Francis Arms Jr. age 68, of Brookfield, MO; passed away Saturday evening, September 20, 2025 at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, MO.
John Francis was born on September 17, 1957, the son of the late John Francis Sr. and Anna Clara (Hendershot) Arms in Plainfield, New Jersey. John worked as a custodial maintenance man for the Bridgewater School district in New Jersey for many years until he retired. Through the years John also worked as a locksmith and in construction as a masonry. He enjoyed doing woodworking, fishing, and watching tennis and wrestling on TV. John loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids.
John is survived by his three daughters, Crystal (Steven) Biggs, Rachael (Joel) Renner, and Eliza Little; four grandkids, Gianna Biggs, Gabriel Biggs, Dylan Renner, and Aiden Renner; three sisters, Madeline Wilson, Roberta (Richard) Staddie, and Betty (Gary) Ervie; and several other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Helyn Dabek, and two brothers-in-law, Marvin Wilson and John Dabek.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am. Monday, September 29, 2025, in the Laclede Cemetery in Laclede, MO. with Pastor David Blakely officiating. Visitation will be held at the Rhodes Funeral Home in Brookfield, MO; on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 10:00 am. until 11:00 am. Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO.
