Tyler Jordan McCurley, age 28, of Brookfield, MO; passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Tyler Jordan was born on January 26, 1997, to Christopher Aaron and Kelly Jean (Miller) McCurley, in Murfreesboro, New Jersey. Tyler was a 2016 graduate of Brookfield High School. After graduation Tyler joined the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Freedom of Road Riders, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching the Green Bay Packers, and singing. He loved playing with his kids; they meant the world to him. Tyler is survived by his three children, Hayden Lee McCurley, Lyla Mae McCurley, and Vaeda Gabrielle McCurley all of Brookfield, MO; parents, Christopher (Jacine) McCurley of Chillicothe, MO; and Kelly (Brandon) Parker of Saint Joseph, MO; four siblings, Cale (Cheyanne) McCurley of Excelsior Springs, MO; Nancy (Jesse) Marshall of Chillicothe, MO; Derrick (Amber) McCurley of Higbee, MO; and Ethan (Aubree) Plunkett of Vandalia, MO; grandma, “Skeeter”; and several other relatives. He was preceded in death by his other three grandparents. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Tyler’s life will be held at 12:00 pm. Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Higginsville Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO; with David Blakely officiating and with full Military Honors. Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO. Memorial donations are to the Family for expenses in care of Christopher McCurley, and can be left at or mailed to Rhodes Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, MO. 64628
