William Christopher “Chris” Haynie, 64, of Windsor, MO, formerly of Marshall, died Monday, November 3, 2025, at Windsor Rehabilitation and Health Care.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. There is no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Center for Human Services in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com
Born October 29, 1961, in Marshall, he was the son of the late William Ryan Haynie and Thelma Jean Chambers Haynie. Chris worked at the Sheltered Workshop in Marshall for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church. Chris was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan, as well as enjoying classic country music like the Statler Brothers and the Oak Ridge Boys.
Survivors include one sister, Candy Cumpton of Marshall; two nieces, Keri Borchers (Keill) of Higginsville and Corey Porter (Guy) of Apple Valley, MN; and three great-nephews, Lane Borchers, Norton Porter and Hayden Porter.
In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Haynie.
