Ronald Lee Brammer, age 87, of Carrollton, MO, passed away November 5, 2025.

Ronald was born September 15, 1938, to Ralph and Eloise Brammer of rural Van Horn on Highway 65. He was a member of the 1956 graduating class of Bogard High School. He worked for the Goddard-White Auto Parts store for 45 years and was owner of the business from 1986 to 2003.

Ronald served on several boards including the Fire Department, Memorial Building, Van Horn Cemetery, and School Board, and was also Mayor, all of Bogard. After moving to Carrollton, he served on the Carrollton R-7 School Board, City Wastewater Board and the MFA Board. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Carrollton.

On October 3, 1959, he married Vera Mae VanDegrift in Bogard, MO, who survives of the home. Three sons were born to this union, Randall and wife Janene of Tina, MO, Steven and wife Sue of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Dennis and wife Kim of Gallatin, MO. There are seven grandchildren, Celia and husband Dusty Davidson of Holden, MO, Jeremy Brammer of Carrollton, MO, Carmen Renee Warren of Carrollton, MO, Stephanie Eschmann and husband Alex of Lee’s Summit, MO, Brent Brammer and wife Sarah of Lenexa, KS, Breanne Harmon and husband Jordan of Brunswick, MO, and Dane Brammer of Gallatin, MO. There are four great grandchildren, Kyler Davidson and Colby Davidson of Holden, MO and Elizabeth Eschmann and Charlotte Eschmann of Lee’s Summit, MO.

He is also survived by one brother, Darrell Brammer and wife Judy of Greenwood, MO, along with several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents and one sister, Shirley Scholle and husband Dale.

Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, raising cattle, showing his Model A in car shows, and spending winters in Texas where he rode his three-wheeled bicycle daily. In his earlier years, he liked to repair lawn mowers.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bittiker Funeral Home in Carrollton.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.

The family suggests memorials to Oak Hill Cemetery Association or Bogard Alumni Scholarship Fund.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Brammer, Dane Brammer, Brent Brammer, Alex Eschmann, Jordan Harmon and Dusty Davidson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kyler Davidson, Colby Davidson, Elizabeth Eschmann and Charlotte Eschmann.
