Omer Dee Greer III, 63, Carrollton, Missouri, passed away November 18, 2025 at his home. He was born on October 29, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Omer Dee Greer, Jr. and Joann Copas Greer. He graduated from Smithton High School in 1981 and Joined the US Navy following his graduation. Dee enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Omer Greer, Jr., brother Ricky Dee Greer, sisters Kelly Greer and Cynthia Owens and his father-in-law Wayne Langan.
Dee leaves behind his wife Tracy Langan Greer of the home, son Omer Dee Greer IV of Sedalia, Missouri, son Douglas (Sloane) Failing of Houston, Texas, daughter Michelle (Dallas) Failing of Marshall, Missouri, daughter Tristan Greer of Trenton, Missouri, son Michael (Kayden) Greer of Carrollton, Missouri, his mother Joann Copas Greer of Grain Valley, Missouri and sisters; Morena Siewert of Florida, Angie (Tom) Howard of Grain Valley, Missouri, Rebecca (Jim) McBath of Independence, Missouri, Chelle Greer of Smithton, Missouri, Christy Delgado of Independence, Missouri and Kimberley Wilcox of Smithton, Missouri. His beloved grandchildren; Scarlett, Grayson, Lillyana, Kyndall and Avery.
A celebration of Life will be held at Lil’ Cecily Eiserer Hall, 111 North Mason Street, Carrollton, Missouri on November 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Memorial donations are asked to the Missouri Department of Conservation, mdc.mo.gov/contact-engage/donate
