Krystal Dawn Higginbotham, 34, a resident of Norborne, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Krystal was born on February 14, 1991, in Lexington to Robert Potter and Renee Ponder Floyd.
She is survived by her father, Robert Potter; mother, Renee Floyd; three brothers, Anthony (Ariel Johnson) Potter of Lexington, Michael Potter of Washington State, and Travis Potter of Wentzville; three sisters, Stephane Potter (her twin sister) of Richmond, Deana Potter of Republic, and Samantha Renolds of Odessa; niece, Amaya and four nephews, Dakota, Patrick, Johnathan, Jerald. Special Uncle and Aunt Robert & Konnie Clancy special cousins William Clancy & Robin Farris
Preceded in death by her grandmother Doris Woods and grandfather Joe Hendris.
Krystal graduated from Lawson High School and later dedicated her life to caring for others as a CNA. Krystal had a naturally loving and gentle spirit, and her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her family. She cherished each of them deeply, and her kindness, compassion, and devotion will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She will be missed by her dog gypsy.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Krystal Higginbotham Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
