Donna Rae Rehmer, 84, of rural Marshall, MO, died Thursday, December 18, 2025, at her home.
A celebration of Donna’s life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with Pastor Rodney Haggett officiating. Burial will follow at Saint John Cemetery in Florence. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Chad Rowan, Nikki Dollens, Colter Young, Kyra Young, Luke Rehmer and Erika Rehmer. Born May 22, 1941, in Clinton, she was the daughter of the late Ray Summers and Eula Elaine Thomas Summers. Donna was a 1958 graduate of Lincoln High School and later earned a degree in word processing from State Fair Community College. On November 10, 1994, she married Marvin Rehmer who preceded her in death on June 10, 2015. During their marriage one of the things that Donna and Marvin enjoyed doing for several years were being snowbirds in Zapata, TX. Donna moved to rural Marshall 15 years ago to live near her daughter and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Marshall. She enjoyed quilting, doing puzzles, was a voracious reader, and loved planting a massive garden each year.
She is survived by one son, Roger Rowan (Penny) of Greenville, TN; one daughter, Carla England (Randy) of rural Marshall; a stepson, Eric Rehmer (Mindy) of Sedalia; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Herbie Summers of Lee’s Summit; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by a son in infancy, William Rowan; three brothers: Joseph Summers (in infancy), J.T. Summers and Darrell Summers.
