Dolores Fay Milligan, age 79, of Clarksburg, MO; passed away peacefully Friday evening, December 19, 2025, at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Dolores Fay was born on July 30, 1946, in Brookfield, MO; the daughter of Charles and Bernadine (Farris) Vantine. Dolores had several careers over the years, with her latest career being a correctional officer at the Missouri Department of Corrections in Jefferson City.
Dolores enjoyed being outside tending to her yard, deer hunting, going fishing, and changing her oil in her car. She loved to visit and meeting new people. She was known for her exceptional kindness and sense of humor, but most of all her many facial expressions. Dolores biggest enjoyment was her little dog, Cindy.
Dolores is survived by her three sister, Anita Martin and husband Rodney of Brookfield, MO; Charlene Bendure of Laclede, MO; and Judy Higgins and husband Jeff of Meadville, MO; a very special friend, Grace Wood and her family; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bernadine Vantine.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, in the Laclede Cemetery in Laclede, MO. Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are to the Linn County Animal Shelter, and can be left at or mailed to Rhodes Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, MO. 64628. Online condolences can be made at www.rhodesfh.com
