It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved child, Novaleigh Elizabeth Perkins, aged 3 years. Novaleigh was born on October 10, 2022, the daughter of Americus Perkins.She is survived by her mother, Americus Perkins, sister, Kinsley Perkins, maternal grandparents, Crystal (Anthoney) Boyd of Lexington, paternal grandparents, Fred (Mindy) Fisk of Independence, aunt, Gabriella Arnold and Araceli Arnold of Lexington, cousin, Taylon Scott, and maternal great grandparents Patricia “GiGi” (Jesse “PaPa”) Viles. She was preceded in death by two cousins, Kayla Sisco and Novalee Wenzler and uncle, Justin Gamble. She was born with a bright spirit and a loving smile, Novaleigh brought joy and laughter to everyone around her. Even though her time with us was short, she touched countless lives with her curious nature and gentle kindness. She loved to be outside and play the harmonica. She really enjoyed sweet tea. She was just a perfect little angel. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date announced by the family.
