David Lee Cramer, 78, of Marshall, MO, died Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating. Full military rites will follow the service at the church. A prayer service will begin at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the church with visitation following until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic School Foundation in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com Born February 25, 1947, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Norbert Justin Cramer and Della Mae Willis Cramer. Dave lived in the Saline County area most of his life and was a 1965 graduate of Slater High School. In 1966 he was drafted into the United States Army, served a tour in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. On October 11, 1969, he married Rebecca Sue Castle who preceded him in death on April 2, 2024. Prior to being drafted, Dave attended Missouri Valley College and later completed his master’s degree in banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Banking. His career in banking spanned over 40 years with many of those years at Community Bank of Marshall, retiring as President and Chief Executive Officer. Dave was a current member of the Community Bank Board of Directors, Malta Bend American Legion Post 558, and the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a member of over 30 years with the Knights of Columbus where he was a 3rd degree Knight. Dave enjoyed hunting and golfing, as well as his many coffee club “memberships”. Survivors include one son, Dr. Justin Robert Cramer (Brooke) of Marshall; two grandchildren, Abigail Jean Cramer and Jesse David Cramer; two brothers, Mark Cramer (Wanda) of Warsaw, Dwight Cramer of Booneville, AR; one sister, Rebecca Dickinson of Wildwood; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
