Melissa “Pissy Jo” Davis, 58, of Marshall died Monday, January 19, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

Melissa was born on December 17, 1967, in Galesburg, Illinois, to Jack Thomas Davis Sr. and Margaret Spellman. Melissa loved to crochet, post TikTok videos, take care of her cats and listen to music. Her family and friends were very important to her.
Melissa is survived by her daughters, Danyel Leonard (Sky) and Samantha Spahr both of Marshall; father, Jack Davis Sr. of Marshall; mother, Margaret Henderson of Galesburg, Illinois; grandson, Ryder Leonard; her siblings: Dawn Miles (Bob) of Galesburg, Illinois, Jack Davis Jr. (Francis), Brandy Griffitt (Jodie), and Jack Davis III all of Marshall.
Melissa was preceded in death by her stepmother, Debra Lynn Davis on January 24, 2020.
