Ryland Wayne Nace, 89, of Blue Springs, Missouri, formerly of Odessa, Missouri, passed away February 2, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Ryland was born on July 9, 1936, in Knob Noster to Percy Nace and Ada Belle (Noel) Gardner. In 1954, he graduated from Warrensburg High School. Ryland worked over 35 years for GM as a general foreman. After retiring from GM, Ryland became a full-time farmer. Ryland was united in marriage on November 23, 1955, to Doris Jean (Ragar) Nace in Sedalia, Missouri. Ryland enjoyed fishing and he and his wife, Jean, enjoyed camping with friends at Truman Lake.
Ryland is survived by four children, Scott (Gail) Nace of Liberty, MO, Gale (Bill) Culp of Gladstone, MO, Jack (Lisa) Nace of Grain Valley, MO, and Sandi (John) Ludwig of Independence, MO; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Laurin, Clinton, Ryan, Riley, Hayden, Carson, and Ella; six great-grandchildren, one brother, Richard Nace of Knob Noster, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relative and friends.
Along with both his parents and wife, Ryland was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Turner and one brother, John Nace.
