Freda Mae Driskell, 69, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at her home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home to help offset final expenses. Born August 29, 1956, in Versailles, MO, she was the daughter of the late Howard Adrian Lett and Katie Mae Ritchie Lett. Freda lived in Marshall most of her life and was a 1975 graduate of Marshall High School. On February 26, 2000, she married Terry Driskell who preceded her in death on July 5, 2021. Freda worked as a correctional officer at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Marshall Habilitation Center for 29 years, and most recently worked for specialized support services. Freda was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Patterson (James) and Laura Cooper (Larry), all of Marshall; four grandchildren: Kathleen Cooper, Tabitha Logan (Matthew), Cheyanne Elliott (Roger), and Katelyn Wheeler; 14 great-grandchildren (with one on the way); two sisters, Reta Burgess of Kentucky and Irene Moody of Iowa; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Freda was preceded in death by one daughter, Wendy Perkins; one grandson, Larry Cooper Jr.; and one sister, Viola Lee.
