Cynthia “Cindy” Marie Galle, 68, of Richmond, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at Liberty Hospital.
Cindy was born on July 12, 1957, in Salina, KS, the daughter of Ralph and Edna (Herl) Sander. She was united in marriage to James Galle of Richmond on August 5, 1983; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: four sons: Jessie Shore, IV, of Excelsior Springs, Christopher (Alison) Shore of Texas, Nathan Shore of Richmond, and Jimmy (Sally) Galle of Rayville; 16 grandchildren; great-grandchild; five brothers: Ralph (Connie) Sander, Jr., of Excelsior Springs, Bruce Sander of Tulsa, OK, Charles (Marie) Sander of Wyoming, Wesley (Shelly) Sander of Richmond, and Kevin (Kindy) Sander of Wyoming; and three sisters: Mary (Lamont) Lipka of Texas, Carol (Chris) Coen of Lexington, and Tammy (Jim) Ireland of Kansas City; many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cindy found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She enjoyed going for walks, tending to her garden, sewing, and baking for those she loved. Her greatest pride, however, was being a mother and grandmother – roles she embraced with unwavering love and devotion. She treasured her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children and looked forward to every family gathering. Most of all, Cindy loved life and cherished every moment spent surrounded by her family.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
