Parilee Turley Jackson, 81, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, March 23, 2026, at her home.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026, at Arrow Rock Cemetery with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Community Cancer Center in Marshall. Born January 25, 1945, in Boonville, MO, she was the daughter of the late Harold Bingham Turley and Mary Ann Scott Turley. Parilee lived in Saline County most of her life, was a 1963 graduate of Marshall High School, and attended University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. She retired from Marshall Habilitation Center after 30 years of service, then worked for Missouri Valley Community Action Agency and Square Corner, all in Marshall. On July 12, 1997, she married James W. Jackson who survives of the home.
The Turley name has long been associated with the Village of Arrow Rock and Parilee was proud of her family’s history there. She was a member of Arrow Rock Federated Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the International Order of the Rainbows for Girls. Parilee loved her motorcycle, “Sally”, and in her own words, she was a “jack of all trades, master of none.”
In addition to her husband, Jim; she is survived by one son, John Bingham Marsh (Nicole Doran-Marsh); one granddaughter, Lauren Doran; two stepchildren, Shala Smith (Steven), and Jared Jackson (Jeremi); 10 step-grandchildren: Tanner Charles, Taryn Leonard (Brice), Luke Jackson (Maggie), Ellison Smith, Taityn Charles, Grace Jackson, Teagan Charles, Carson Smith, Emerson Smith, and Molly Jackson; four step great-grandchildren, Aubree Charles, Boston Leonard, Carmen Leonard, and Marlowe Laning-Smith; one brother, Geroge Bingham Turley; one sister, Kay Scott Perkins (David); as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Parilee was preceded in death by her parents, and one stepdaughter, Tara Jackson.
