White House Rose Garden Club President Trump is hosting Republican Senators for a “Rose Garden Club Lunch” event at the newly renovated White House Rose Garden as the government shutdown begins its fourth week. Democrats in the Senate closed the government on October 1 over a funding measure that did not meet their demands for $1.5 trillion in wasteful spending, including free healthcare for illegal aliens.
