The French company is planning on completing the project by July 4th of next year, 2026, the 250th anniversary of America. The new statue will be made out of titanium to withstand years of unpredictable weather conditions. When contacted by Newsweek over the phone, the Paris-based company Atelier Misso confirmed the project was genuine.
