A suspect is in custody in connection with the targeted shooting in Chicago over the weekend. Border Patrol Agents this weekend conducted immigration enforcement operations in Chicago. The federal agents were shot at by an gunman driving a black Jeep in Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday. Other anti-ICE agitators threw bricks and a paint can at federal agents. “Today, U.S. Border Patrol was conducting immigration enforcement operations near 26th Street and Kedzie Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, when an unknown male driving a black Jeep fired shots at agents and fled the scene,” the DHS said on Saturday. “An unknown number of agitators also threw a paint can and bricks at Border Patrol’s vehicles.
